Because of what I learned from him I enjoy trim work . I can build a house from start to finish.
I love designing additions which are in keeping with the original style of a house. My specialty is restoration. I enjoy creating new pieces that are duplicates of the architectural piece that need replacement.
I am also excellent in commercial renovations such as doors, steel studs, cabinets and drop ceilings.
I have extensive knowledge in structural design. I keep to date on new materials including specifications on installation when the need arises.
With 35 years in the trade I have extensive knowledge in all areas and have mastered almost any type of finish work including residential and commercial.
In spite of what material is being used I feel installation should be of the highest quality, and a job well done is a job done in the proper sequence. You can not save time by manipulating the order in which you do things and achieve a quality job. I like to run jobs but I like to do it in the field where I can have a hands and eyes on what is being done.
I am able to teach those under me how to properly do the job if it is an area they have not worked in before.
If you are looking for someone who cares about what the client gets then I am the man you are looking for and I hope to find an employer who feels the same way. Or jobs I can bid having a CT home improvement license and insurance. I keep up to date on all codes in CT.
